Why a greenhouse works well in the North Okanagan
Vernon's growing season is longer than most of BC's interior, but it's bracketed by two problems. Spring arrives warm and then turns on you — a late frost in May can take out everything you put in during a warm April week. And autumn cools fast enough that tomatoes and peppers stop ripening while the plants are still healthy.
A greenhouse solves both ends. You can start in March instead of gambling on May, and keep producing well into October when outdoor beds have finished.

Vernon has moved a full hardiness zone — 6a on the 1961–1990 normals, 7a on the current 1991–2020 figures. That is among the warmest ratings anywhere in the BC Interior.
Even so, the average last spring frost is May 5 and the first fall frost October 5 — about 153 frost-free days. A greenhouse works on both ends of that window.

Built for the snow that does arrive
Vernon doesn't get Revelstoke's snowfall, but it gets enough that a flimsy structure is a liability. Every Trinity Valley greenhouse is built on a galvanized steel frame rated for Canadian snow loads, sitting on a treated lumber base. It's built to stand through the winter, not to be dismantled each fall.
Two models, two sizes
The Harvest adds a polycarbonate roof for better light diffusion and insulation, a full-length work bench and a tool board. The Sprout uses the same frame and base with poly film roofing at a lower price. Both come in 8'x8' and 10'x16'.
Delivery to Vernon
Free, and typically in two to four weeks, longer in spring. Both models arrive fully assembled — no kit, no hardware bags, no lost weekend. You need a level, well-drained site and clear access for the delivery truck.
